Admissions to Aitchison 2021-22 Update

Offers and age verifications are now complete for K1, K2 ad E2. On this basis, unless an offer is unexpectedly not taken up, we have closed admissions for 2021-22.

We appreciate the many families who submitted applications and the efforts made to prepare boys. We also understand the difficulties faced by those who were unsuccessful on this occasion. Among these are siblings who will need to reapply.

Every applicant has been judged fairly and every boy given an equal chance to gain admission. This includes offering an additional 500 places over the past 5 years to help as many applicants as possible. Sadly, we cannot admit everyone, although every boy is worthy. If your son happens to be in the ‘regret category,’ I suggest it is crucial to reinforce your admiration for his effort and his courage to participate. No attempt is wasteful. Boys who persevere do achieve their dream more often than not. Classes open for admission next year are simply those into which we can add numbers without breaking maximum class sizes.

In the senior category, we are expanding to include Aga Khan Matric in C1/C2, as well as adding FA to F.Sc and AS/A Levels.  Such developments support our broadening of options to assist boys from all parts of Pakistan. Aitchison is and must remain a national institution.
