AITCHISONIANS WIN UNSW GOLD MEDALS


Three Aitchisonians have been awarded Gold medals by Educational Assessment Australia, University of New South Wales (EAA-UNSW) for securing the highest grade among all participating students from India, Bahrain, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Iran, Iraq, Kuwait Maldives, Mauritius, Nepal, Oman, Pakistan, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Sri Lanka and UAE in the 2016 IAS in their respective categories.

The UNSW Gold Medals are awarded only to the Regional Toppers in each subject, at each class level. Saeed Naeem (Grade 10) was awarded the regional Medal in Mathematics, Mueez Hasan (Grade 11) won the Medal in English, while Hesham Mohammed Nawaz (Grade 11) was awarded Medals in both Mathematics and Science.

In English, 3 students were awarded High Distinction, while 6 received Distinction Certificates. In Science, the boys were awarded 1 High Distinction, 6 Distinction and 2 Credit Certificates. In Mathematics, Aitchisonians received 1 High Distinction, 8 distinction and 9 Credit Certificates.
