Introducing Ms. Faaria Rehman Salahuddin as the Founding Director of the Advancement Office


We are delighted to introduce Ms. Faaria Rehman Salahuddin who has joined Aitchison College as the Founding Director, Advancement Office. The Advancement Office at Aitchison will be responsible for Alumni and Donor relations, Fundraising, Marketing and Communications and Strategic Partnerships. Ms. Salahuddin comes with a wealth of experience in the education and corporate sector and we look forward to her contribution to Aitchison College.

Faaria Rehman Salahuddin is a C-level professional with a career spanning 28 years in banking, education and entrepreneurship with leading institutions like ANZ Grindlays, SCB, HBL, UBL, Bank Alfalah Ltd and Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS). Her expertise lies in driving organizational turnarounds through strategic re-alignment and synergies of business lines.

With a deep understanding of credit, risk and operational management in corporate and retail banking, Faaria excels at bridging silos and leading business transformation by fostering change, collaboration and innovation within teams. Her unique blend of experience makes her particularly adept at leveraging alumni and corporate leadership engagement to drive institutional strategic development.

Faaria is currently dividing time between her Boards responsibilities, offering Consultancy Services to various individuals, institutions and business ventures and managing her heritage hospitality project. She is a Member of the Board of Directors for Avanceon Ltd , JazzCash Pvt Ltd , Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Ltd , Dubai Islamic Bank , Ellcot Spinning Mills (Nagina Group) and a Member of the LUMS Financial Aid Committee as well as an Advisor to the Lahore Biennale Foundation and the Walled City Lahore Authority . In 2018, she also successfully restored a mid-20th century property and launched it as a heritage boutique hotel in Lahore, Pakistan. The place titled WUSAAQ is her passion project; considered a landmark in the field of hospitality in Pakistan both in concept and execution, it has received international endorsements by publications such as Arab News, Middle East and ICON Magazin, Germany. Her passion for culture and heritage is also reflected in her reputation as a major patron and collector of local art and her involvement with Pakistan’s leading art institutions.

Faaria holds an MBA from Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS) and is a Rotary International – GSE Professional Scholar to Bavaria, Germany. She has held Strategic Advisory roles as a Committee and Board member of various institutions like Allama Iqbal Medical College/Jinnah Hospital (AIMC/JH), Service Institute of Medical Sciences (SIMS)/Services Hospital, Dairy Rural Development Foundation (DRDF), LUMS Financial Aid and NOP, Management Association of Pakistan (MAP) and Pakistan Fashion Design Council (PFDC).
