Ramadan Reflections: Aitchison College, Prep School Students Share with the Needy
Aitchison College Prep School successfully launched a charity drive to support the needy and less fortunate. It was a meaningful initiative that promoted compassion and social responsibility among students, especially during the blessed month of Ramadan. The sacred month teaches Muslims the values of generosity, patience, gratitude, and caring for those in need. As part of this drive, students actively collected money and essentials for the less fortunate. The Headmaster, teachers, and especially Ms Nabila Khokhar and Ms Fatima Mahmood, Incharge of Charity, led the students, guiding them and explaining the importance of charity (Sadaqah) during Ramadan. They emphasised that helping others brings spiritual reward and fosters a strong sense of community. This activity not only helped those in need but also developed empathy and teamwork among the students. Through this charity drive, they learned that Ramadan is not only about fasting but also about kindness, sharing, and supporting others
