Finance Minister Aurangzeb Returns to Alma Mater as Aitchison Celebrates Academic Excellence


Aitchison College marked its 140th  Academic Founders’ Day with a dignified ceremony celebrating academic excellence and rich traditions.

The event was graced by Mr. Muhammad Aurangzeb, Federal Minister for Finance and Revenue of Pakistan, an esteemed Old Boy of the College, as the Chief Guest. In his address, he shared reflections of his time at Aitchison and encouraged students to pursue excellence with integrity and dedication.

The Principal, Dr. S. M. Turab Hussain  in his thought-provoking address, appreciated the achievements of the students, reaffirming the College’s commitment to high academic standards and character-building.  Awards and medals were presented to distinguished students in recognition of their outstanding academic performance.

A special highlight of the ceremony was a video featuring messages of Old Boys from both sides of the border, reflecting on the College’s shared history before and after Partition.

The ceremony concluded on a note of collective appreciation for our students and staff. It was, indeed a celebration of the long legacy and continued excellence of Aitchison College.
