Aitchison College German Festival 2019
The Aitchison College German Society, “Klub der Deutsch-Wunderschüler”, had the honour of conducting the second edition of its flagship event, the German Festival, on the 26th of January, 2019. It featured over 50 delegates and 4 delegations from across Lahore.
Delegates contested in four categories which included:-
- Futsal Tournament
- Poetry Recitation Competition
- Talent Show
- Stall Décor
These provided an apt platform for delegates to showcase their linguistic abilities. They were seen to be well prepared and displayed utmost dedication to their tasks. After vigorous competition, the delegation from LGS Paragon managed to emerge victorious across the four categories.
The GermanFest’19 ended with a closing ceremony in which the teams were awarded with shields and certificates.
The event was met with considerable appreciation with everyone applauding the efforts of Aitchison College in ensuring that it was flawless. Delegates were more than keen to visit for another German Festival next year.
