Godley House - Annual Farewell Dinner for H2 2026

On the evening of April 6, 2026, the lush, green grounds of Godley House provided a picturesque backdrop for the Annual Farewell Dinner. This year we welcomed Mr. Humayun Bashir Tarar as the Chief Guest.

A proud Godleyite, Mr. Tarar’s return to his "second home" served as a powerful bridge between the house’s storied past and its vibrant present. Currently serving as a Deputy Inspector General (DIG) in the Police Service of Pakistan (PSP), he stands as a testament to the Aitchisonian ethos. He is widely respected for his unwavering integrity and honesty—virtues that were central to his message throughout the evening.

The formal proceedings began with the Principal introducing our Chief Guest. In his note to the departing H2 Batch, the Principal emphasized the noble concept of "giving back," urging the young men to contribute meaningfully not just to their alma mater, but to society and the nation at large.

Taking the podium, Mr. Tarar captivated the audience with a keynote address filled with nostalgic anecdotes from his own days in Godley House, interwoven with hard-won lessons from his distinguished career in law enforcement. His journey from these very corridors to the highest ranks of public service served as a roadmap for the graduating batch.

The evening’s highlight was the presentation of the House's most prestigious awards:

  • The Godley Cup (Best Leaving Boy): Awarded to Haroon Rafiq.
  • The Victor Ludorum Cup (Best Sportsman of the Year): Awarded to Mir Hayrdost Khan Domki.

As the night drew to a close, the H2 batch expressed their gratitude through the presentation of souvenirs to the Chief Guest, the worthy Principal, and the Housemaster.
